“…Thy speech bewrayeth thee”

Acts 4:13 “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” This world can tell that we have been with the Lord, we don’t have to openly broadcast that we are a Christian. Are you living right with the Lord? It’ll show, and it does show. If you’re living right the Holy Spirit will come out in your life. Whether it’s in your actions, your speech, or whatever when you’re walking close with him he’ll manifest forth in your life and people will see. How’s your speech? Do you talk clean, do you walk clean, are you a clean vessel to where when you speak the world says, are you a Christian? You can’t hide being with the Lord, and why would you want to anyway? Matthew 26:73 “And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.” Our speech will give us away that we have been with the Lord, hallelujah!! But, let’s not be like Peter in the very next verse: “Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.” (Vs. 74) 😔 Are you witnessing for the Lord? Are you teaching, preaching, having conversations concerning Christ and his word?
