Repent or Repent Of Your Sins?

Is it any wonder that we see Christianity today telling a lost sinner to "repent of his sins" in order to be saved. That's not biblical! On the contrary, it's unbiblical to tell this to the lost soul. Are they (Christianity/"soul sinners") following the King James bible or modern versions? I believe the proof's in the pudding!
