Preaching must be rooted and grounded in the Bible. If the Bible is not the authority and foundation, the preacher becomes the foundation. Any man can run off into a ditch. No man is perfect. The pressures of life, personal problems, and difficulties can come along and away a preacher off in one direction or another if he is not biblically anchored. -Dr. David Peacock-
